Time For Your Special End-of-Year Review!
Don’t Wait for 2025 to Start Strong—Your Success Next Year Depends on the Actions You Take Today.
Hey there, friends! 🌟
As November winds down, I can feel that familiar pressure creeping in—anxious whispers reminding us that the end of the year is near. You probably know the feeling. Soon, the questions will roll in: “What are your New Year’s resolutions?” “What big goals do you have for 2025?” It can feel overwhelming, can’t it?
But wait. Let’s hit the pause button for a moment. Before we leap into planning for next year, I want us to take a different approach—a necessary one.
Let’s look back at 2024 with fresh, compassionate eyes. As women, we're often burdened by that nagging voice telling us we’re not achieving enough, not being productive enough. You know that voice, right?
It makes us:
- Minimize our daily victories
- Brush aside our consistent efforts
- Forget how far we've actually come
- Ignore the wisdom we've gained
- Discount our quiet strengths

And take a deep breath with me. Together, let’s repeat:
"I release self-judgment. I open my eyes to truly see my journey."
What’s important to acknowledge is that achievement isn’t just found in the big moments. It’s in the daily choices we make, the persistent efforts we invest, and the way we navigate life’s complexities.
Think about how you:
- Tackled each morning's challenges
- Found creative solutions when things fell apart
- Kept your aspirations alive while juggling everyday demands
- Showed up for others while honoring your own needs
- Took those small but powerful steps that required so much courage
Each time you chose to try something new, stand up for yourself, or keep moving forward despite uncertainty, you were not just surviving. You were achieving, growing, and creating real change.
But we often forget to recognize it. We’re so focused on what’s next that we overlook our current journey and the progress we've made. So I want you to really absorb this: You’ve been active this year. You’ve made choices, taken brave actions, and created changes—even when it didn’t feel like enough.
Let’s reflect on some of those moments:
- Those mornings you chose to begin again
- The times you said “no” to protect your energy
- When you ventured outside your comfort zone despite fear
- How you adapted when plans shifted
- The way you consistently showed up for your dreams
Each of these moments matters. Each step counts. Each choice has moved you forward.
If you want to dive deeper into this work, here are three powerful resources:
Today’s Pick
"The Gifts of Imperfection" by Brené Brown - Discover why self-compassion is the foundation of real growth
“When Things Fall Apart" by Pema Chödrön - Learn how to embrace yourself exactly as you are
“Self-Compassion: The Proven Power of Being Kind to Yourself" by Kristin Neff - Understand the science behind why self-acknowledgment matters
Yes, there are dreams waiting for you. Changes you want to make. But before diving into those, we must acknowledge where you are right now and honour what you’ve already accomplished.
I've created an end-of-year review Journal with prompts to help you see your journey more clearly. It’s designed to capture the essence of your growth this year—not just the big milestones but also the small victories that accumulate into meaningful change.
This document will guide you to:
- See the patterns of your strength
- Recognize your consistent efforts
- Acknowledge your quiet victories
- Honor your growing wisdom
- Celebrate your daily courage
